Backing plate / pad size

I bought sonus pads / backing plate last year,



but i would like to know if it is ok to use the 4 in backing plate ( flexible ) with a 6 in Lake County Pad ??



will it conflict with the product usage ??
 
I wouldnt. I would go with the 5" BP. Your asking for trouble with too small a BP. Having the BP close to the exterior edges of pad have always been good for me. Less stress, more torque, better durability.
