Backing plate help

Ok I need a little direction. I’ve been using a PC for a while now. I love the results. I’ve used a number of polishes and sealants.

My question is about backing plates. (Yes I did a search first). I’m sure there are a ton of opinions out there and that’s what I’m looking for, some real life experience. I’ve been using the 6" contour pad which I purchased with the unit.

There are so many options out there. I’d prefer to purchase a new plate from one of the shops that support this site. I will eventually be replacing my pads (polish first) but I want to do the backing plate first.

Thanks
Shawn

I like the flexible backing plate so that it flexes around the curves, under mirrors and wheel flares, which can be bought from either Troy or Autogeek:rockon

Hello
I strongly recommend the edge pads system from Aaron K. At least make sure you try it. Its a remarkable system and best of all it works . Try Menzerna polishes but stick to what works for you. In terms of Pads and backing plates goto edgepads.com. Your life will never be the same. Trust me Im a high speed polishing and buffing expert. Aaron is a great guy who knows the game better than anyone.
