Dec 11, 2009 #1 U uberyk New member A bit of a newb question to ask. When using sanding pads on a DA, do the backing pads have to have the same exact diameter as the sanding pad or is a little smaller backing pad ok? Specifically, using a 5inch backing pad for a 6 inch sanding disk.
