After 3 years with a Jet Black car I have come back to silver. I love black but do not have a garage, and after becoming a detailing fanatic (thanks autopia), I found it difficult to care for the black paint.



This is after quick detail using the Klasse twins.

I'm not a huge fan of Titanium Silver, I like their Graphite color personally. ( a little more depth):)



Have fun with that! Glad to see you got the good engine, too. My friend's dad just got a new 525i and it is SO SLOW...

I can't say that I blame you for giving up on black. I am in the same boat as you and my next car won't be black.
 
Thanks for the kind remarks. The transmission is Steptronic - 6 speed automatic. I had the SMGII in my M3, and decided not to go that route again. As far as the car goes, it has a ton of torque - 360 lb/ft, and 360 hp. It gets up and goes. Pushes you back in the seat in a way the M3 never did. Still in the breakin period, but I have a pretty good idea of what this car will be like. Not as "on rails" as the M3, but my God is it a comfortable ride. And the Active Roll Stabilization really is effective in minimizing body roll of turns.
