Back To Blitz !

Do you also apply the OG by hand or PC?

I already have Blitz wax, but not OG. Maybe I'll try that combo on my red truck since I'm back on a carnuaba kick.

Dback, never heard of longevity problems with Blitz. Omega Glaze is important part of the system. Possibly the reason for your problem if you didn't use it.

I didn't use the Omega Glaze. Maybe that was the problem.

I'm surprised that longevity was a problem for you. I can get 2 months from it. I guess it all depends on where you are as well. I'm assuming arizona, based on your screen name. If so then the heat would be more of a factor over there. But that should apply to all waxes.

Bill.

Bill,

In Arizona any carnauba doesn't last,even Blitz:D

there is no rule that says you must use OG after the BLITZ but if you do there is a big difference in my opinion

If Blitz didn't stain trim like a MOFO I could have saved myself a lot of money.

The fact that I'm posting here again and just spent over $100 on my second order from CMA this week is NOT a good sign. I thought I had my routine down and I could stop screwing with it this summer...guess not. The point is that Blitz is excellent wax. Nice to work with, lasts FOREVER, looks amazing, but stains trim worse than anything else I have tried. If it weren't for that I would still be using it over Klasse.

Endus, another trim trick. You can put on your favorite trim treatment prior to Blitz. This may be the answer to the trim problem. Kinda like auto painters putting Slime on parts of the car they don't want painted.

I think Blitz looks great on darker colors but doesn't offer the "pop" that a good synthetic gives on light colors.

I THINK THAT IF YOU HAVE A DARKER CAR YOU HAVE A ADVANTAGE.Don't get me wrong light cars can look great but a good carnuba against a Black or a Dark Royal KILLS

There are two products which I keep returning to, Autoglym Resin and Blitz.

I have both but never considered using them together. Do you top the Resin with Blitz?

The other way around, Resin and then Blitz or you can use Extra Gloss on top of the Resin and then top with Blitz

I used Blitz once and haven't used it since. I have a full can sitting on a shelf in my garage. There isn't much about that stuff that I liked. Poor longevity, attracts dust, stains trim, etc.

I've never tried Blitz but would like to. In order not to waste the can you have, would you mind sending it to me? :D

Thanks!
