Back again with bad news.

Well, as some of the older school members know, I was driving an 01 Audi S4 until it was totalled in a bad accident. I was okay after a day in the ER, but my pride and joy certainly wasn't.



Currently, I am driving an Acura CL Type S Manual Transmission.

Nice car, but not as nice as the S4 it replaces.



BTW Zaino Z5 on the Aegean Blue Pearl on my Acura is incredible!
 
Glad to hear that you are okay.



I know it feels awful when your pride and joy is wrkecked, but look at it this way- now you can replace it with an even more awesome car! :)
 
Wow, sorry to hear about that Richard. :( Look at it this way, at least you were not hurt. Cars can be replaced, lives can't.
 
Sorry to hear about your loss. I love the new CL. Factory black housing headlights. My uncle just bought one. Very smooth car, especially when all shiny. Good luck with whatever you plan on doing; and the important thing is that you're alright.

But hey if your new one looks anything close to this (yes I know this is a TL and yours is a CL, but :cool: anyways):

Heh heh...that pic gets around. It's hosted here, but I've seen it in other forums that I don't even normally go to. Yeah, that blue really responds well.



BTW, someone keyed it a few weeks ago. Last time I washed it, the owner told me and was really upset, especially since it was keyed down to the primer (about an 8" scratch across the driver's door handle). :(

Wow. That's quite a shine. Who's car is it? I must have missed this picture in my lurking. :)



Thanks for everyone's support! This is simply the best and most friendly forum there is.
 
I almost forgot to add that my dealer gave me the short end of the stick when he went ahead and did a "courtesy wax job" on the car when I explicitly told them not to.



Needless to say, the swirls and scratches are still being worked upon by the Zaino Z5.

Oh my!!!! Scott, how many coats fo Z are on that car? It looks absolutely incredible! :shocked

Exactly zero coats. I polished it with Meguiars Swirl free and waxed with one coat of S100 paste wax. Took me about 45 minutes to polish and wax.
 
wow. That car looks like a special effect from Terminator-2.



Incredible.
