Baby steps to the UDM

Last night I took advantage of the promotion over on ProperAutocare.com, 10% off and free shipping!! I bought some Lake County green pads (for KAIO), some white pads (for Menzerna FPII) and a 16oz bottle of FPII. All I need now is the UDM, which I plan on buying in the Spring. From what I've read, the 2nd version should be coming out then, seems like more than a few UDM's are being sent back, so I'm hoping the bugs get worked out by then.

Pads are useless without the machine, so I've committed now. Thanks for all the great info floating around here, it has taken alot of effort figuring out what will be the best combo of products for me to use. I'm going with FPII, KAIO, KSG and AW (along with an occasional layer of P21S).

One question while I'm here, I plan on polishing my Odyssey and Miata, how many ounces of FPII should I expect to use in total??

It is hard to answer this question without seeing the paint and knowing if you are going for perfection.



But if you purchased the standard 32 oz. I would say, that amount should be plenty.
 
Awesome, thanks for the info. Neither vehicle is in bad shape, I've done my best to hand polish any trouble spots, and I'm a fanatic about my washing technique. I've also clayed each 1-2 times a year and kept them both garaged. Thats why I just bought the FPII, I'll be truly shocked if I need to go any more agressive (Menz IP). Gobble Gobble Gobble !!
