Baby Blue 1951 Mercury...

I have been using Speed Bead on the painted surfaces of the engine for about 10 years . Good quick cleaner wax for hard to reach surfaces including door jams.

OH, well then. I misread the post. I thought you used it on all painted surfaces - and I see now that you did not.

:redface: Oops. I mis-read the post too. I like using Speed Bead for door jambs. It's one of my secret weapons.;)
 
Darn it Bill!!!! I was already to post that it was a lead sled then I saw that you did already!!! Darn car guys.
 
Not to hijack thread or the blue merc but here is a pic of my buds car that he did a few yrs ago. He had a 49 Buick lead sled then decided to go to customs. He built these type of customs,street rods and lead sleds for a living. This was a 4 door 62 Chrysler that he made into a 2 dr custom. Lot of pearl paint, lot of clear coat and about 6 layers of 4* Platinum

Yep Carlisle is just around the corner and the local cruises start soon!!!!! Who knows maybe I will see Baby Blue!!!
