AXE + Carlack68 or should that be AIO ? HUGE PICS!

Without even trying the Carlack68, I can almost be certain that it's not identical to AIO, because as 'AndyC_1' mentioned last week, the Carlack68 is quite thick in consistency and is white in colour - whereas AIO is fairly runny and a tan colour.



I'm pretty certain that Carlack are the parent company from the research I've done. I've been in touch with their customer services in Germany and a lady told me that it's 95% the same.



If you start off with bascially the same product, then making one a different colour and consistency isn't really difficult and shouldn't have much of an effect on the way it performs, so I wouldn't be too concerned about the colour and consistency factor.



Axe... with the Carlack68, do you wipe on wipe off or let it dry to a haze. Also, is it difficult to remove? (AIO can be a pain if you let it dry for too long.)

Nice results mate!



Carlack is easy to use - wipe on with MF pad, allow to haze for a few moments then remove (if by hand). Leaves a slick and wet finish, improved further still with KSG. Re-did mine and other 1/2's Ka on Saturday - will post pics tonight.



SVSP was where I got mine - glider manufacturer down Rich's neck of the woods.



Craig, I left a panel for 15 minutes and it wiped off without fuss (but it was a typically dull UK day Saturday - not sure it would be so clever on a hot sunny day - remember those?!)

Carlack is most definatly not thick in consistency, it is very like single cream, quite runny, and in colour too actually.



I applied it as those here might apply AIO, if I am not mistaken, doing one panel at a time and wiping off straight away. I would work the product for about 3 -4 minutes with the PC set at 5, to the point that it became hard to see on the car, then i wiped it off with a WW. I noticed that in some areas it did start to haze slightly if I worked it a little longer, I assumed this was too long, however it did just wipe off without resistance.



Not sure if that would be the same process as AIO but I am sure someone will state if otherwise.
