I had a pretty messed up faceplate on my Sirius radio. I tried Mothers, PlasticX from Meguairs, Flitz....All were subtle, but nothing great. I tried one more treatment before a new radio....

Poorboys Polish with Carnuba!

Not only did it remove all the scratches...but it left the display brighter than when it was new! I dont know if more light is passing through or there is just more pop...But Wow!

Thanks Steve! You just saved my radio!!!!

(I tried to get pics but all I get is a reflection of the flash, sorry)

I dont know, but after what I saw on my radio, I wouldnt hesitate to try it.

I have had great success using Flitz on Ford lenses that turn yellow, though.

Check this:

http://www.flitz.com/index.html

Look at the application videos. It does work just as it shows.

You can usually get a small sample pack at ACE hardware for under $1.00 if you just want to try.

I have a customer whose plastic convertible window wasn't fazed by PP or SSR1. The PP definitely cleared up some micro scratches but couldn't handle some of the deeper ones. I ordered the 3-step Novus plastic polishes and I am hoping to try them out on the window this Friday. If the results are good I will post results.

novus is a great prduct line. It's the only system I've found to clean up the nasty rear plastic windows satisfactorily.

Good to hear. Now I know if it doesn't work it's user error!!

don't got that far! Some things are just plain beyond repair. It takes practice to get down, but don't frett. Take your time and learn to use the product.
