My brother brought me home a tube of this stuff from work (he works in an engine shop). I tried it on my exhaust tips and was impressed with how quick and effective it was. It feels like it's got some abrasives that diminish, even with hand use.
So I decided to give it a REAL test on my exhaust pipes leading to the mufflers. After about 20 minutes (including initial cleaning with Castrol APC, jacking the car up and supporting it with jack stands), this was the result - by hand:
(the left one was done, the right side not done yet)
Impressive stuff. If prepped with some #0000 steel wool, it might go even easier. Apparently you're supposed to be able to take a cast header and bring it to a full polish with this stuff (with the use of a machine, I would assume). Highly recommended.
By comparison, I have never been that impressed with the NeverDull... It does a decent job, but doesn't have the abrasives needed for really tough jobs, imho...
