Autopian knowledge for son's guitar

Old guitars do have their value....

One of the guys I work with at the firehouse has a 1959 Fender Stratocaster that looks like Leo Fender just made made it...it's been appraised at over $40K!

Another friend of mine has one of the first Gibson Les Paul's. I can't remember what year it is, but the serial number is in the low 2 digits and worth mucho dinero!

Prodigal son say's thanks for the great reviews of their tunes.

Yeah his V's , Warlock, and Explorer definitely have battle scars, abbiet shinny ones.:D

I agree that too much wax on the Tacoma isn't good, but that's the great thing about the Souveran: wax on, wax off immediately. I figure 1 or two monolayers won't hurt.

He already had it at his luthier's yesterday and asked him about the wax/polish. The luthier said definitely to put some good wax/giutar polish on it. Asked Ryan(son) what did he have on the Tacoma that made the shine so deep, lol. Ry told him his dad's Souveran. They guy asked if he could borrow some for his MartinD28. I sent him about 1 oz . He raved about it. Then I told him about the cost, lol. But he admitted it really glows. So, we plan to split a tub o' Souveran this spring.
