Congrats Daniel!

When Daniel first posted here, I dismissed him as a kid who just wanted to make some money washing cars and seeing his name on a forum. Well, I was wrong... and I apologized to him in a PM

The young man does have his act together...more teenagers should take a lesson from him! :xyxthumbs

I am! His operation is definitely an inspiration to me.

Cool, there is a place that has a Beetle meet every Saturday during the spring and summer. I am hoping to have mine in "show condition" by spring. You can give me detailing tips too.

Well as a new member of this forum I'm a bit startled to read that article in the Roanoke paper. Wow! If only half of it is true you've got a great story Daniel. Congrats.

....and in the back of my mind I'm hoping there is some connection to guys that are raised around menswear (like your family) and the ability to succeed in auto detailing. Ha! That's I stretch I know but I've been in menswear for better than 26 years so I need some magic spell or something. It's time to change jobs!

Lynchburg is a bit more blue collar even than Roanoke, so I may be in trouble. :bawling:

I used to see Daniel's posts all the time. He asked questions that were designed for very specific answers. The casual answer just wasn't enough ... and you'd see his picture in his avatar and think why isn't this kid playing X-Box? If memory serves he even took some heat for his persistence ... yet he persevered and didn't slow his quest to sponge as much info as possible. I have some fuzzy recollection of him sharing how his Dad was going to charge him for the water and/or electric bill. :furious:

Well it's come full circle! :hmph: He's now getting press that publicists can't buy ... and it's certainly well deserved. :woot2:

Congratulations Daniel - I am very impressed with what you've accomplished. If you've come this far in 18 months, I look forward to where you'll be in 5 to 10 years!

All the best to you! You're a very impressive young man. :goodjob

HAHAHA! Awesome! Where do you work? Have you ever heard of John Normans? My family has owned it for over 40 years.

I think there may be some correlation because of the LONGGG hours you need to put in to be in clothing retail.

THANKS!!!! That means a lot!

Dan congratulations to you and your business.

Good Public Relations is very hard to find.

I remember when you first started up, you were catching a lot of grief from some of our membership and it is clear that you made up your mind to overcome those negative vents/posts.

Do keep up the good work. :bow:bow

Long hours I am def used to. Currently @ S&K Menswear of which we are closing one of the two stores in Roanoke. Not quite the quality of garment your Dad sold but the rag business has been good to me for a long time. Now I just may need a switch to hard labor. :scared:
