Heh heh, gee...seems my Postcount reflects a little, uhm.... generosity

I'm here, just haven't seen any threads for which I had anything to contribute. Well, that one about the Cadillac DTS that's rusting out along its door seams might bear some comments....

It *is* good to see some folks here who'd been absent from the old .org forums! And yes, the Admin has been great about clearing up a few minor issues related to my account.

Glad to see you here...It's been a long time my friend :)

Thanks, folks.

Pats300zx- You were one of the (gone but not forgotten) people I was pleased to see here, and your participation helped sway my decision to remain active post-merger.

Nice to see some gratitude Trouble! You must have some good food in you after all your belly aching!

Not so fast!

While I appreciate admin adjusting the toolbar, I still think the palm trees & 911 (someone elses 10 year old design) are tired looking - that layout is as played out as flash gordon

:swirly:

I like this banner better than the 3D one. The only change could be to de-emphasize the .org and forums but guess is to assist those visited to understand what is going on. There may be more tweaks down the road but the current banner is for migration since many do not like change.

There may be more tweaks down the road but would guess the current banner is to make everyone feel comfortable with the change.

Comfortable, smotherable. This look is retro uncool

My primary forum likes or dislikes are always around navigation and color choices such as background color, text color, text area. It is less about what is at the top as long as the quick links option is available from most screens but the width of the thread section (nothing on sides to cramp reading area) such as side bars even if collapsible.

We are planning on more changes once the migration is completed. We have a few more software to install and testing to be done. Also if there's a particular look you will like to see or a skin you like please feel free to post animage.

thanks.

I just wanted to take a second to thank everyone involved that has made this merger happen. It's been a few weeks now, and I can confidently say I'm very pleasantly surprised. I have to admit when I first heard of the news I was less than thrilled. It wasn't anything personal as I hadn't really spent any time on the old autopiaforums, but I had been a member of Autopia for a long time and it was by far my favorite detailing forum and really one of my go to forums I spent time on every day. Needless to say, I was a bit nervous of the changes to come and how things would go meshing the personalitites of the two forums togther. So far things have run incredibly smooth considering the task that was at hand, the forum looks great, it appears those running the show have their you know what together, and the discussion and interaction between everyone has been great thus far.

I know I'm not one of the big dogs that gets a lot of attention or pulls a lot of weight around here, but I thought I owed it to those involved to take a minute to show my graditude and let my positive feelings be known from a person who was rather skeptical before this all started.

Keep up the good work everyone!
