I have heard from experts saying that we can use paint spirit to clean our paint from road tar, grime and contaminants prior to waxing. Is this correct? If yes, what brand of spirit should I use? Will it etch/damage clear coat? Thanks for ya advice...Danke!
I think you mean "mineral spirits", and no, it won't hurt your paint if properly used. In fact, many polishes and waxes contain petrol products like mineral spirits.
