I tell you what if you have not been looking at the products that this company has you are really missing out. I have been talking to ron ketcham and he has set me up with alot of fantastic products. There swirl remover process is awesome, Cerious compound with a lambswool pad and Fast Finish (Same as Optimumwax but better like 60 days protection and easier on off) with a light cutting pad and bam swirl free car in an hour.

Omni is there all-purpose cleaner and it has knocked my socks off better than Meg's APC if you can believe that. Alot of their product is not on the website and they probably deal mostly with detail shops but man I am impressed. Just call for a price list and they have some really nice wall charts.

Still love my Meg's wheel brightner and Super Degreaser and have gone to Hyper Dressing for Interiors, tires, engines. It lays better on interiors then anything I haved used.

I've been happy with the Auto Int products I have. Omni will be my next APC by the time (whenever that is) my other cleaner is used up.

Yep, I have them both. The Cerious is a bit abrasive and my understanding is it needs to be broken down via a series of pads. It can be tricky to get exactly the results you want and IIRC, even AI recommends a follow up polish if necessary. It must be a different formulation/grade/content of cerium oxide than the Menzerna "PO" polishes use because they perform wonderfully much easier.

Well it is actually a polish, the lambswool pad is what I use with it, it breaks down well but you don't want to dry buff it at all. You can do the whole car then take the cutting pad with the FF and it will remove the residue and leave a swirl free surface but it won't work with synthetic woolpads. It contains aliphatic hydrocarbons and alcohol, whatever that means? The Ff has twice the durability of Optimum and easy to work with.

There is a lot of very intense and detailed knowledge inside the head of Ron Ketcham. I've exchanged emails from him and learned a lot.

Curiously though, I've also gotten excellent results from processes that he said would not work. Therin lies the rub, I think. Believing that your way is also the ONLY way doesn't always make people follow you.

I have some of their products, but I haven't tried them yet. I anticipate that they will be excellent.

Mosca- Yeah, Roger that regarding Ketch. He and I get along great and I have tons of respect for him, but our experiences sometimes differ.

I've also exchanged emails with Ron. Pretty much told me I was a poor, worthless nobody and didn't deserve his knowledge. Albeit I wasn't nice, the professionalism of him and his organization could be a bit better.

The king of detailing can be a little cantankerous.

How is the compound when it's used with a pc? What pad would you use with a pc?
h

Wouldn't work, not enough heat to break down compound unless you have 10 extra hours :chuckle:
