AutoInt ABC Decontamination

Evening All,

Am setting up an order from AutoInt on ABC Decon. and wondering if I need all three gallons, just one, two, etc... The reason for the kit is to remove rust blooms from deep in the paint, because the blooms keeping reappearing and hate to keep reclaying the whole car because of them.

A and B are the imporant ones. You can skip 3 if you want and use a good soap from what I recall. Call up them up and ask for Ron and he'll be open and honest with you.
 
What Paco said :xyxthumbs. The "C" is a neutral-ph shampoo. Anything similar will, IMO, work as well (if not better) and I wouldn't mind using something just a *little* alkaline after the "B"/acid anyhow.



Heh heh, see how you get on with Ron Ketchum if you speak with him. Some of us, myself included, get along with him great and others, well, don't. If you do speak with him, see what he says about getting the rust blooms eradicated on a not-new car; IMO it could well take more than one application of the "B" and I clay while the "B" is dwelling. Ron likes the idea of a bug sponge instead of clay but those things scare me (fear of marring).

I don't know Ron, but everything else Accumulator said is about right.
