Autoglym now in North America

I just saw that Canadian Tire has the Autoglym line on sale. The $49.99 HD wax was just under $38!! Much more reasonable pricing right now!
 
Any other Autoglym products showing up at your local WM besides the wax, and applicators?



Does anyone know what WM's carrying next? Like the Bodywork Shampoo Conditioner, or the SRP?
 
BigLeegr: Where in Canada are you? I have seen the HD stuff here at CT as well, but only for 50bux .. which blows.
 
Canadian Tire is running a sale here in BC on all their Autoglym products. The most expensive being HD Wax at $38. Might actually be worth it to pick up some Autoglym products to try.
 
Just picked up HD Wax at CT here, just to find out it contains Silicones .. Argh!!!! .. I always thought that one shouldn't be using silicones on cars.

Any particular reasoning behind this? I believe there's different types of silicones, and while I don't know exactly what's in AG HD, I think some silicones are okay. Or in the very least, they've never negatively affected any of my vehicles in the past, and I'm sure back in my more unlearned day I used a lot of things that were silicone heavy.
 
90% of car care products contain silicones they are used as lubricants and glossing agents.



in a body shop environment you dont want airborne silicones (its a specific type i believe) that will cause paint bonding issues
 
I saw this hidden away at Walmart as well, only 2 boxes left and was in need of wax. Usually stick with Meguiar's #27 but decided to try a paste.



I'm really impressed with the results even though I don't try too many different waxes. The applications it comes with work really well and you hardly have to use any wax at all. It's pretty hard to apply but getting it off is ridiculously easy. I used a 7424XP with a microfiber bonnet but did a panel by hand later and it came out with very little to no dusting as well.

I think you should see it in this weeks flyer. All the Autoglym line is 25% off. Including the fancy palm/finger-tip applicator.
 
I just picked up there rapid quick detailer, and hd wax today at pepboys. They also had the palm thingys' lol and the viynl treatment and the bodywash soap.
 
Just checked the Can Tire here there have the AG stuff out. Also seen Ultimate compound, a total release deodor spray, some nice thick MF's, that AA rim spray stuff, Lucus detailer-wax and a few other new items.
 
I've tried their Detail Mist which I found OK, easy to use didn't seem to add much though.
 
Bought some at a WalMart in Omaha today. As per usual 2 boxes on the shelf and I took one! My brother was stunned that I was willing to spend $35 on a wax. Lucky he didn't see my AutoGeek packing slip from last month...:nervous:

At my walmart i bought one package for 34.88 but i went to pepboys to see if they had any of the other product and i was floored! they are selling the HD wax at my pepboys for $50. Ill just wait for the other products to hit walmart and see how much they are there
 
My walmart has had these and the goofy little finger things for a few weeks. My girlfriend scolded me the day I first saw it because she knew I wanted to buy it. I had convinced myself it was a hype product. Am I wrong? (please say no, she will be upset at me if I go buy this stuff right now)
