Agreed. I've had no problems but I can believe it when others have because no company is perfect.

Hmm, this is rather odd, a few noobs start randomly complaining about a great site with great customer service calling it a crappy site with crappy customer service.



Being a forum member and getting a discount is a PRIVILEGE. How the hell are they supposed to know that YOU'RE a member of Autopia and deserve a 10% discount?



You don't even have to ask for the 10% discount, just say you're a member of the said forum and they'll take care of you.



Some people I just don't understand...

How fast people forget... and to the crybaby about the coupon code... its a gift to us forum members not the whole world...YES you should have to tell them when you call- they dont have ESP. Now go get a tissue and stop crying. :grrr

I don't see alot of recent posts as bashing - people are just sharing their experiences. Its one thing if a guy who has never ordered from a vendor knocks them. Its quite another if you've ordered from them and had a bad experience (or three). I don't see any reason to protect a site with poor cusomer service on a discussion forum such as this. I understand that you've had good luck with Autogeek, and I wish I had had the same luck. However, its not like the claims of poor service are all fake. I think the rash of them is due to some sort of shakeup at Autogeek - I had good luck with them for a while, and then it turned all of a sudden. Their customer service has been all but useless to me lately. Maybe they have my name and address blacklisted :nervous:, I don't know.

First of all, being a newbie doesn't mean that we don't have a legit complain. By the way newsflash, it's not a consipracy either.



I don't have any financial interests in any other website and that's why I am bad mouthing autogeek.net. I am just sharing my experience with fellow autopian and have them make their own judgement. Certainly, lot of other people had good experience with the company and more power to them.



I just don't understand the problem you guys have about sharing good or bad experience on this forum....guys don't take it personally unless you work for autogeek.net.

I don't have a problem. However U gotta enter autopia in the coupon code box to get it

my recent order was big enough that I saved 40 USD (50 aussie) just with the 10% discount.



A friend of mine was told by AG only after he contacted them, that he has to wait 12 days before his order can be shipped. Now that's never happened to me here in SA



Now that's not on.

Besides that, it's gold.
 
Something that is a clue when you order online is "Browse Information" about whoever you're buying. So, if you didn't ask for the 10% before or during purchase, don't dare to whine that they didn't give you a discount or that their service isn't good at all! Most probably you called them on a defiant tone, and if that was the case, then they won't treat you right.



Do all that next time, and I can guarantee you, that things will go better!

Never had a problem with AG ..if you subscribe to the newsletter they show you the specials and discounts....right now they offer 15% off with the code....I just ordered some of the LC wool foam pads and a few other items and got the discount....

I've never had a problem with AG, like AL-53 said if you get their emails you'll know about the codes and specials. You did happen to notice the date on this thread before posting didn't you? A lot can happen in two years with a business and IMO, AG has just gotten better.

12 days does not make up for the other 353 days of crappy customer service. All I know is that I will never hand another dollar over to that company. I would rather support the sponsors here.

I'm sure they are all busy with so many orders to fill that I have to remember that I am not the only one who has ordered. Actually they do pretty damn well considering the amount they get.
 
Nothing bad to say at all about Autogeek!! Prices have been great! CS has been perfect for me!! I had a problem (twice now) with the backing plate on the Diamondite Glass Repair System and they replaced it once and the last time it feel apart on me Duane, the same guy I talked to the first time, remembered talking with me and offered a regular 3.5" flex backing plate to fix the problem. Very helpful and very friendly!! Placing another order with them right now cuz I forgot about the 15% code!!
