As Bunky noted, I'm not sure why you would presume that Pak would get towels from MFT, rather than Pak perhaps getting some of their towels from the same source as MFT. I'm pretty sure Ranney isn't watching boats going past his island on the way from Asia to San Diego, and then having towels flown back from the US.

I am sure he gets them from the source since he made a comment once that he had a shipment coming in by sea (availability was weeks) and it was stuck in customs. I doubt it was stuck for agricultural inspection (something Hawaii does) from the US.
