AutoGeek! Dissappointing

Just a view from the other side of the fence- I've never had any problems with AG that were not resolved in a prompt and courteous manner.

Don't know. Never had any problem with AG and have placed about 25 orders or so in the past year. I bought a few things that broke and they always were replaced free of charge. The last defective item Nick gave me something 4x the price.

Then again, I rarely have an issue with any seller or business. I think a lot has to do with what you expect from them and how you approach them if an issue does arise. I realized a long time ago that if you give off negativity that's what you get back.

I'm not saying that is what happened here. But, I don't know how to explain the discrepancy in the customer service that was reported by the OP and what I've received.

The OP mentioned they shipped it to your "corporate office". Well, the only way they would have received that address is from you. When you check out at AG there is a billing address and a shipping address, you can make them the same or different. Also, I find it a little hard to believe you asked someone there (or at any business) for a copy of a statement and they said "we are too busy" to do it. I don't know, it just doesn't sound right.

Even if they shipped to one address in the past, and you filled out the checkout page incorrectly this time, you just expect them to keep shipping to the initial address because they have done it previously? How would they know to do that? Your mad because you had to pick it up because you gave them the wrong address? Who's fault is that? Are you angry at your own mistake?

Not sure.

it seems more posts and threads are popping up with the disappointment of AG's service and it's not surprising with the many who have posted about their experiences (not just here, but other online discussion forums as well). IME, AG's customer service isn't what it use to be and it's a shame because i use to like shopping with them at one point in time. when you have places like detailersdomain.com - carpro-us.com - buffdaddy.com - detailing.com - DI, and a handful of others to choose from these days, there isn't really much of a need to shop over there. eventually... people open up their eyes and see the real picture, some quicker than others. i remember a long time ago i posted on their forum a while back about the rolled edge mf's i purchased long before AG carried them and within a few weeks guess who got them in LOL. your money is your voice, keep that in mind the next time you spend a few bucks somewhere...

Great comment Al. And that's why Autopians need to consider reaching out to the sponsors of our forum for their purchases when possible. These guys eat, sleep & breathe customer service.
