I guess I've been leaving under a rock, but I have never heard of them. At what point does it become overkill.

I use a lot of Americana products and would put them up against any of the products from most of the major brands. While I have a bunch of compounds and polishes, my most commonly used are Rocks and Depth. I have also coated a lot of vehicles with Americoat and must say it is probably the easiest to apply out of all the coatings I have used. I would highly recommend any of their products as I have yet to find one that I haven't liked.
