Autofiber towels versus Pakshak towels: what say you?

I personally give the edge to Pakshak. They seem a bit thicker (especially going super plush yellow vs super plush yellow final buff towels) and a touch softer.

Any of you have experience with both? ;)

I love ranny's towels but the plush yellow one I use seems to leave some tiny fibres on my paint after I QD even after being hand washed a couple of times.

I don't have this problem (with either the autofiber or the pakshak). But I machine wash. You may want to try that. :)

You can't have enough MF towels. :)

Ultra-Fine towels are good as final buffing towels.

Autofiber.com has some nice towels as well.

Ranney :)

Whoever gives you the better deal is who you should go with. I have 2 towels from autofiber and 10 from pakshak. Imo, both are superior to every other mf out there.

I feel kind of bad complaining about the yellow one when every other towel I get from ranney are amazing. His WW is, how should I say this, friggin' amazing.

Acutally come to think of it I machine washed the yellow one when I first got it with some cheapo MF I use for the interior that lint like crazy so that may be the problem. Serves me right for mixing my good MF with my crappy ones. Hopefully this solves my problem so back to the washing machine it goes right now with only my WW to keep it company.

Ranneys WW and Yellow (16x24) Ultrafine's are in a league of their own and are must haves.

Autofibers Blue (16x16) Elite Buffing Towels are also amongst the best available

3 great products for 3 dif purposes

Have you tried other elite MF vendors? If so expound why you think these very fine towels top your list. They are 2 of the best but I could name several others that have equal status in my pile of over 70 MF's and WW and priced about the same.

All have excellent customer service.

Which towels from Ian are you comparing Pakshaks to? The Elites or the pro-detailing towels? I don't have any towels from Pakshak, so in all fairness I can't compare the two. I have Ian's grey waffle weaves and his pro-detailing towels. In my opinion, the pro-detailing towels are just as good if not better than some of the vendors out there that are selling microfiber for $5.00-$6.00 per towel. I like the pro because it's plush on both sides, not one side plush and the other side less plush. I also like this towel because it's very soft. Like I said, I have towels which go for $5.00 per towel and they are not as soft as Ian's pro towel, and the pro cost less.
