Question for you guys. The SCCA mandates numbers on the side of cars. I plan on using magnets to attach the numbers ot ht ecars, butam afraid of scratching... any thing I can do?

No problem using magnets; just make sure the paint surface is clean and free of dust, same for the magnet. As long as you don't slide the numbers around on the paint and use a little common sense, you shouldn't have any problems (I didn't back when I used to autox).
