Auto Body Glass Coating

I listen to the birds chirping, ocean roaring, and cats meow-ing. It adds some rythym and melody to the Violin Concerto D Major roaring out my neighbor's window.

I still think his system needs more bass. :D

but plan to get a decent portable Panasonic boombox cd player.

I am also into home and car audio, and I do have a nice system in my room for music listening. :D
but I need still need to get a subwoofer, my system lacks low feq. :(

the types of music I would listen when washing and detailing my car
would be anything I like, which is pretty much every thing...

Blues and Jazz - I love blues! Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jeff Beck, Coltrane, Miles, etc

Rock & Alternative - such as Rage, Metallica, Korn etc.
maybe some jungle, drum & bass, house and trance
I also like dance.

I guess it all depends. [/b]</blockquote>
Maybe I could help you with that as I am into both as well. What do you have so far?

<strong class='bbc'>Actually, my favorite "music" is the sound of boxing. I love to wax the cars late Friday night while watching Friday Night at the Fights! Nothing like watching two guys whack each other senseless to keep me in the polishing spirits. (That and the fact that my wife can't stand to hear me yell "murduh da guy!")

And if I can't have that I prefer classical or jazz. Hey, I'm well rounded. [/b]</blockquote>
I am like you in that I am a serious boxing fanatic. I used to watch amateur fights every Friday several years ago and I loved it.

I like to see someone open up a can of whoop-#$#% on occasion. :D

I am sure alot of you all have heard of it.
it is a German made quality headphones.

check them out, they are great and have great reviews on audioreview.com

I have a a pair of mini audio ear bud headphones, and they are truely awesome. [/b]</blockquote>
WRX,

I am a HUGE fan of the Sennheiser RS6 Wireless headphones. When I worked on radio, we had Sennheisers and I have loved them ever since.

Outside of that, there are a few AKGs or Sonys that I like.

yeah the Sennhiser are truely awesome. I am a huge fan of theris too.
planning to get one of larger sets of headphones in the future. maybe HD- 580 or something like that.

I currently own a small pair of sennhiser ear bud
headphones, and they truely rock! nothing like sony, and other brands I had tried. they are truely good for the moeny.

Maybe I could help you with that as I am into both as well. What do you have so far?

so far I have,

- NHT 1.5 black book shelf speakers :D ($600) got it for reatil.
- Yamaha Natural Sound AV reciever R-V905 ($200)
- Yamaha Natural sound CD player CDC-905 ($75)
- monster speaker wires and optical tos link($45~65)

planning to get a sub to enhance low end feq. looking for something cheap. Will get a higher end sub when I have the money and my house.

looking for something like Yamaha, JBL, or polk subs
any recommendaions? looking for price range less than $300.
and maybe NHT subone for i think $600 to 700.

The system I have is truely amazing. great for acoustics listening. has a acoustics suspension woofer, and a aluminum cooled tweeter. here are the specks of the speaker.

Model 1.5
System Type: 2-way, acoustic suspension
Drivers: 6.5" long-throw polypropylene woofer and 1" fluid-cooled aluminum dome tweeter
In-room Response: 53Hz-25KHz +/-3dB
Sensitivity: 85dB @ 2.83V/M
Impedance: 8 ohms nom., (6.2 min.)
Suggested Amp. Power: 20w/ch -150w/ch
Dimensions: 16.5"H x 7"W x 10.25"D
Weight: 16 lbs. each
Finish: High gloss black, mahogany or sycamore laminate

check them out at http://www.nhthifi.com

these speakers are very crisp and clear. truely awesome.
has well defined highs, but naturally lacks low feq. great for all type music listening, especially acoustics like blues, rock, jazz, etc.
but does need a sub for punch for harder stuff. good coloring and imaging. great geometry.

these are some true hungry mosters, and they like more power. more power better performance. but really need a sub, can't handle all that base and low punch in the music.

:bounce

so what do you have Prinzill?

Hmmm....I have only faced this a couple times (no radio in the garage), but I enjoy the company of Live's Rattlesnake, some Alice In Chains, and Eminem.......hmmmmm, maybe if KleanRide ever gets a shop, I will be able to write off CD's as Shop Supplies! :-)

PrinzII, I'm going to email you as I would like some music also! There is a Chi-Town house site with music from Farley

and the HotMixx 6 that is great!!

Funny you mentioned The Hot Mix 5. I actually worked with one of the members for a year. I got a kick out of learning a few tricks.

I have one site as well http://www.gottahavehouse.com

Right now, I am pricing a system with the following components:

Yamaha RX-V3000 Receiver
Audio Control C-101 EQ
B&W DM 604 II Speakers
B&W CC6 Center Channel Speaker
B&W LCR-1 Surrounds
B&W AVR-2000 Subwoofer
Onkyo TA-RW 544 Cassette Deck (Already bought)

I am undecided on DVD and CD Player

As far as the video portion:
JVC HR-S3800U Super VHS VCR (I already bought this)
Sony Trinitron Wega (Either 27" or 32")
Bell O'Getti Stand (Matches the Wega)

As far as subs are concerned, I would look at Velodyne. Velodyne gives the cleanest and most accurate bass or many subs on the market.

Another Country fan here Aaron..

I have a pretty decent stereo in my garage..Have it on when I am doing landscaping and yard work also...

The Body coat product is a special nano technology product with a long term effect on painted surfaces.

This is not a sealer that forms a barrier but rather a modification of the surface chemistry on a molecular level to provide a permanent easy to clean and protective surface.

The hydrophobic property (115 degree) works by repelling water and preventing adherence of any contaminats.

In a microscopic level the painted surface is not completely smooth, so water and dirt on the surface can build up easily. The product allows the dirt with water simply to wash off and provide a clean surface.

dirty water cannot settle into the painted surface, the coating is very long lasting, UV stable.

It cannot removed by water, Alkaline or other detergents or high pressure equipment.

This product will guarantee that the surface keeps its original clarity and transparency.

Just finished it over the weekend (in my garage). Waiting for nice weekend to take clean and dry snaps.
Let me know what you guys think??
Thanks!
Dev

Check out the rain droplets running off the car.

Right after a quick heavy shower. Just wiped down the rain drops with blade and took some snaps of sun shinning through the cloud.
See reflection and comment :)

Reflection off the hood of the sun through clouds. After a heavy shower.

More reflection off the hood :)

4057311124_efa73039d7_b.jpg

Again, just hood was wiped clean. However look at the side, no water there! Since the sides are verticle, not water droplet sticks there, just runs down immediately.

However on horizontal surfaces, such as hood, top and trunk it forms a round droplet (really small).

Maybe we could see if your pictures weren't the size of thumbnails........FAIL

I am glad you liked it, jcrob....

standby for largers snap links!

Really easy to apply, however need to pre-prepare your car for Glass coating. Since all those small scratches or dents will be showing under the Glass coating. They (in Europe) guarantee 2 yrs, provided you don't go to machine wash, etc.

Thanks!
