Audi R8 Detailed

D Tailor, I think I want to get one first and see if I like it.

The only reason why I'd get the mini would be for exhaust tips... does the mini work as well for wheels? Does the regular size work for exhaust tips?

Sorry for being OT... the work on the R8 is still amazing!

Thanks for all the compliments guys. Red is definitely my new favorite color on this car.

Its definitely softer than bmw and mercedez but not as soft as japanese paint.

Fantastic work! How was it detailing in the sun? heat?

I did most of the polishing before it got too hot. Even under the tent in shade I was still sweating....it was over 90 degrees that day.

Excellent Job! The headlights on these cars are incredible, I think they started putting similar headlights on some of their automobiles they are producing now!

Beautiful car and looks like you did very nice detail on it, but..........

I really don't get this foam thing. You have no visible form of waste water reclaim. Are you reclaiming the affluent waste water?

Also the clutter in this pic drives me crazy! Looks very unprofessional.

Again, very nice work on the detail.

I have an R8 (silver with carbon blades) and I never though the R8 would look good in red: stunning!

Fantastic job for the detailing!

I like using a foam cannon since it provided extra lubricity from the thick foam to minimize any potential marring while washing the paint. At the moment I don't have any water reclaim system setup but I was at a private residence and using eco-friendly soap.

It was towards the end of the day and this photo was taken right before packing up and taking after photos. While I do agree that image is important, I let my work speak for my professionalism.

What concentration do you use to strip the wax with CG CG&W?

All that is needed is 1oz in my 32oz bottle attached to the foam cannon.

How does that guy decide on which car to drive??

The R8 gets most attention these days :)

Beautiful car. Great work rlguy!

Awesome job and car. Nice wheels, but the green cap has got to go.

I believe the green valve indicates that the tire is Nitrogen filled.

Who cares about waste water? The car shampoo used is ph balanaced an biodegradable.

Also the clutter in this pic drives me crazy! Looks very unprofessional.

Once again, who cares, can't you tell he's done with the work and ready to pack up?

:chill:

He's using ph balanced biodegradable car shampoo and you can tell he's ready to pack and done with work.

Gotta love people making a big deal out of nothing :spot

Nice. Did you use hyper dressing or 303 on the tires?

I used hyperdressing on tires.
