He said in that thread that a guy named Johnny from C&S had some of these brushes left but they are no longer manufactured. I don't know what C&S stands for though and I did a yahoo search and got nothing related to detailing.

These look like the same brushes, scroll to the bottom of the page. Seem kind of pricey though, shipping probably won't be cheap either.

Yes, looks like they were "Metal Free Wheel Brushes". But due to the patent holder pulling them off the market they aren't readily available any more.



Looked like Clean&Shiny used to carry them as well, but the webpage doesn't work any longer.



Not inexpensive as they look to have been about $40 ea.



Good news is that it looks like they are going to try and replicate them as much as possible without violating the patent.

Properautocare.com offers a "woolie" brush in 1" and 2" sizes that might be the same or similar. About $20 ea or both for ~$35.
