I've got another question mike that i'm not in a hurry for an answer to. Speed glaze is rated a 4 and DACP is a 6. IS there really a HUGE difference between the two? If I plan on using DACP mostly do I need to go buy some speed glaze to. Is there much of a chance to do more damage w/ DACP?



I know that you try the least amount of abrassives to get the job done, was just wondering if there was a huge difference.
 
i was in the same predicament as you... i just went ahead and bought the #80..which i will be following it up after DACP

There is a huge difference between #83 DACP and #80 Speed Glaze. I would recommend both, especially for the types of cars you own and the quality finish you expect and desire.

As far as cutting power is DACP that much more aggressive. I keep reading aboutt he shine that # 80 gives. Is it much different then the one provided w/ # 83?
 
Just tried my new #80 last night. I was expecting it to be more aggressive than it was (by looking at the agressiveness meter on the bottle). I guess I will be picking up some #83 as well.



When people say #80 breaks down fast, they aren't kidding. Very easy to work with and remove though. I tried it on 20 year old single stage paint that has never seen wax in it's life. It wasn't quite enough (duh!) to pull everything out, but it made a 'click & brag' worthy difference.
