OK, for those who wonder if I even have a car, here's a couple of shots of my Peugeot 205 GTi taken at a recent club meeting. Was parked in the shade hence they aren't exactly brilliant and I'm far from happy with the finish on the car right now - still has some light swirls.

Products used to get to this point;

DACP with purple Megs pad

IP with yellow Megs pad

FP x 2 with yellow Megs pad

VMW with beige Megs pad

NXT wax x 2 by hand

P21S x 3 by hand

Used FD as a QD

Exterior trim dressed with 2 coats of AG Bumper Care then topped with Megs W Dressing

Tyres with 3 coats of Megs W Dressing

Glass with white vinegar/water 50/50 inside and AG Glass polish inside & out.

Next plan is to repolish to get those darned swirls gone then try showcar glaze then P21S

Lucky you don't live in the UK then - that would have cost the equivilent of $85 here!

:shocked Ouch!!!!!!! $170.00 to fill up my gas tank.

I think that I would get a car with better fuel mileage. Or buy bicyle.

It costs me the equivalent of $250 per month to run my car - and it's a diesel with good fuel economy!

I've said it before... and I'll say it again... you Americans don't know how lucky you are!

I know that we a lucky in regards to our fuel costs. I lived in Japan for two years. When we bought our Expedition gas was about $1 a gallon. Now its about $2 a gallon.

My comute is less then 22 miles Monday through Friday. On the weekends we take my wife's Corolla unless we are shopping for big items. It gets about 30 miles per gallon.

If we had to pay the same price for fuel as you, I would bet that you would see more cars on the road that get good gas milage instead of all the SUV's and large luxury cars.
