Aston Martin...

The car was in great condition before the detail...the wheels where the only real issue with this one. The process was as follows:

-Wash

-Clay bar

-PS with blue Edge 2000 foam pad and PC at speed 4

-OS

-P21S

-wheels treated to PS and OS

-wheel wells received a pre-wash with PB Bug squash then AA Tire Foam (I believe Scottwax came-up with this idea...GREAT TIP SCOTT!!)

-tires dressed with black-magic

-the side windows where unfortunately not cleaned-up at the time, but the front and rears got PS then OS

Basically, I have never seen paint as beautiful as this. I never thought silver could reflect as wonderfully as this Aston did. Certainly this was the best paint that I have worked on so far. Orange peel seemed non-existant. What a wonderful experience. Enjoy these pictures fellow Autopians:

I have a very nice car ..but if I wanted (ahem, could afford..) a glam-mobile; the Vantage would be it at the moment. It's fun to work on nice cars, eh?!

Good to hear about the quality of the paint. I have several friends who went to test drive the AV8 when it first came out and they thought the paint was not good at all. It is an absolutely stunning looking car.

Thank-you everyone for the comments...The car is certainly sex on wheels. The owner says the ladies go crazy for it! Detailing high-end cars is certainly fun indeed. Of course it stinks when it is very hot and humid outside, but at least when you are done you can get a high degree of satisfaction from doing this kind of work.

Lovely work on one sexy car.

I had a trip to York today (if you ever visit England, York is a must!). Anyway I spotted a group of blokes looking at a car. When I got closer it was a new DB9, whilst they were all in awe of it I found myself tutting at the swirls & etching on the finish. I left my busness card under the wiper so here's hoping!

Great work, and let me say thats my hands down, one and only choice if I could afford an exotic right now. I don't think theres a sexier car in existence IMO.

Ahhh...well then, thank-you Justin for the AA tip and all for the comments once again. Despite the held-back, but truly elegant lines of the car, what really impresses me most about the Vantage is the sound of the exhaust...simple raw and aggressive is what it sounds like. It's a welcomed surprise to such a discrete vehicle. It certainly challenges some factory American V-8's for overall quality of sound.

what a stunning ride that is, those wheels are a non issue now thanks to you. making silver pop like that is not easily done great work.
