Aston Martin Vantage 2 step correction

2010 Aston Martin. I've previously detailed a Pro-Charged Z06 and a built LS2 GTO for the owner. He sold both vehicles and bought this Vantage lightly used but horribly abused by a dealership detailer. It was originally going to be a basic detail until I saw the paint in the sun. He agreed to let me go harder into the paint.

The compounding was by far the most time consuming step, everything else went really quick considering the starting point. Took my son and I about 3 1/2 hours start to finish, total of 7 man hours.

Wheels were pretty dirty:

Sprayed down with Optimum Power Clean (3:1 dilution) and then washed with Optimum No Rinse:

Before shots of the paint after an ONR wash and Opti-Raser clay sponge:

Interior needed some work too:

Woolite/water cut 20:1 to clean the leather

3D Carpet Shampoo cut 16:1 to clean the carpets

HD Speed by hand to polish the carbon fiber and plastic

Optimum Protectant Plus to protect the door panels and dash (they are leather but felt a protectant better suited them)

Meguiars Leather Conditioner for the seats

Nice work Scott! Just did an '08 myself, gotta love the lines! Customer wouldn't spring for OC?

The detail already cost him more than he expected and he was busy with work so we didn't talk much. One of his co-workers says he wants us out to detail his Audi Q7 so I'll bring it up for both vehicles.

Wow 3.5 hours and amazing results you do not fool around, well done.

Well...that is two of us working that long each. By myself it would have been at least 6.

As always, your work is top notch!!!! :bow

That paint now looks amazing Scott, but 7 hours? You are the fastest gun in town, that is for sure.

EDIT: yes I missed it.

one word

AWESOMELY yours

First class detail.....will u be doing the jet too

The owner of the Vantage doesn't have a jet, his company is there writing software for the airport.

W. E. T. paint

Unreal work for 3.5 hours even if it's 2 people.

Thanks! Having my son, who at 25 has about 12 years worth of detailing experience makes all the difference in the world.
