Aston Martin, Purple 350z and an Audi

THe Z was a complete repaint and the paint was in pretty bad shape. Lots of swirls and tons of micromarring from what appeared to be the body shops buffing. I spent about 8 hours on the car and about half way through decided I am getting a rotary! Also, I was reminded yet again of how zaino completely lacks depth ;)



Process:

Wash

Clay (felt and sounded like I was sanding the car :shocked )

ssr3 yellow cutting pad pc spd 6

ssr2.5 white polishing

Menzerna fpII white polishing pad

Zaino Z5 x 3

Zaino Z2 pro x 1

Aston Martin:

Just a wash and wax. It was pretty clean to begin with and is about 1 month old. The dealer threw on some kind of sealant, but I could tell it was already starting to wear off. I threw a coat o p21s on and it was looking great. Unfortunately, it started to rain a but so I had to back it into the garage and ended up with some $hitty pics :(

For the audi i just threw a coat of Nattys Blue on it. It was a friend of mine and he wanted it to look good for the Euro show up in Ventura last Saturday. The paint had tons of swirls, but I think I will tackle that another day (when my rotary comes in :D )

All of them look great and those lines on the Aston Martin are gorgeous! :)



I hear ya on the rotary too, I am just about there as well.

Any idea what rotary you will be getting? I have done a little searching but ahvent found too many recommendations yet.

Probably end up getting a Makita rotary and a Cyclo. The other day when I had all those cars, an extra buffer would have been very helpful.
 
OOOOoo, You should of taken a picture of the Aston in your garage from the front of your driveway and then tell your friends that you just got it! Haha, good jobs on the other cars as well...I'm assuming the Z was resprayed (I've never seen a Z in that color)?
