What does everyone apply their glass cleaner with?

What do you use to wipe the door jams? Do you use any cleaner to do it also?

What are your steps and products to clean the interior?

Thanks...:)

I apply my glass cleaner with a terry towel and follow up with an MF for final buff.

I use a cheap MF with QD on door jambs (during wash) followed by some wax to protect and shine.

I first vac the interior and pre-treat stains. I then go over it again with a cleaner such as Valugard's Ommni All Purpose cleaner. Then I do a final vac (wet/dry vac.)

I spray the cleaner directly on the glass and wipe off with a MF dedicated to glass cleaning

Depends on their condition. For a wipe down I use a cotton terry towel. If they need cleaning I'll use a soft brush and car wash solution from the wash bucket. I use Simple Green or EFHI to remove grease, oil, smudges, crud, etc. Then a little QD or cheap wax to polish.

Go to the Autopia Home Page and look at the links on the left. There are detailing tips there which will give you some good info on interior cleaning. Getting your interior clean may take several products and tools so it all depends on what you're cleaning and how you plan to do it.

To treat stains (like the really bad ones, 4 ounces coke sitting on carpet for 5 months is kinda nasty) is EF Hi-Intensity.

I follow up with water to remove all chemicals for the carpets.

Thanks Jason,

What about for general cleaning of carpets? Other than vacuuming just? Do you ever use things on mats like a Bissel Green Machine type of unit? Are these recommendable?

thx

I use a 2 gallon wet/dry vac (stinger), but NYd has one of the bigger ones, I think 12 or 16 gallon Rigid. Now his machine can suck. he also has one of those little green machine cordless ones, they are decent, not good in the sucking department, but they do the job they are itnended for, just not very well like professional extractors that cost a helluva lot more.

I am off to home depot later next week to get a nice Rigid 6 or 9 gallon wet/dry vac for $40-$55 dollars.
