Hi all
I've been detailing as a hobby for about 2 years now with about 40 cars under my belt. For those two years I've used a UDM to correct but this christmas (my birthday) my friends decided to get me a Makita 9227C so I could move onto the next level. I've practiced on a scrap 350Z hood that I have using techniques from videos and tutorials but I'm still not getting the results that I want.
So my question is this.... is there anyone in Jersey (prefferably central or northern) that uses a rotary and has a detail coming up that I can sit in on to observe and get some tips on the machine's use. I would like some in person rotary use techniques and some light wetsanding would be awesome too (another thing I've practiced but not perfected).
I would greatly appreciate any help that is offered
