Armour All Wheel Protectant?

I got a can sometime back and applied to my hub caps on my camry. I have to say this stuff works and works real well. The caps stay much cleaner and are way easier to clean

Try it on a BMW or Audi (with factory brakes), not a rice burner, then lemme know how it does.
(and wheels, not hub caps)
:help:

Now I gotta go hide. Scuze me.

I put some on a MB two weeks, its a DD for her and had a look over the weekend and its working very well

I was very skeptical about this product but it works very well

You will not be wasting your money on it for your BMW

You know I luv ya Dave, you are one of the reasons I'm here. But what do I do with it if i don;t like it? I mean I can't use it on my dash like their tire shine. :D

I tried this product out and for my use, it totally worked. I applied it only to my front wheels and drove for 2 weeks. I'm stupid and didn't think of taking photos until after I had hosed the wheels off. But even before hosing, the front wheels had significantly less brake dust on them. Yes brake dust still does accumulate, but I'd say maybe 75% less than without the spray. But as you can see from the photos (rear wheel on left, front wheel on right), simply hosing the wheels off removed almost all of the brake dust on the front wheels. In comparison the rear wheels still had plenty caked on, should've seen them before. So yes this stuff works. I do feel that they don't really give you enough for the price. One can could probably do 8 wheels with moderate coat of product, 6 wheels if you're really covering it good.

My brakes make my wheels look terrible after a week and this stuff is doing the job.

To me clean wheels alone make the car look much better and this stuff comes in handy when you can't wash your car constantly. It does leave a slight residue but the gray color of my wheels hides it.

I bought a can recently and applied to my Volvo C30 R wheels. I had PB wheel sealant on the wheels already and I noticed a slight decrease in the accumulated brake dust after applying the Armor All protectant.I use Megs wheel detail spray and a MF to clean and clean up is very easy.

I have not noticed any visible film on the pewter gray portion or the polished aluminum clear coated spokes. Very easy to apply and it seems to help but don't expect any miracles.

Nevermind...I was thinking of the eagle one stuff.

I used this on my Camry and it works quite well..meaning there was a lot less dust over a weeks worth of driving

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I didn't really feel like starting a new one or doing any kind of review.

I just wanted to chime in here and say that I finally gave this stuff a try about a month and a half ago. When I rotated my tires, I did a pretty extensive clean and got them to like-new cleanliness. I sprayed down the inside barrel with the AAWP as well as the outside facing. After getting the wheels back on and having the truck sit in the garage for a day, I re-applied to the wheel facings. I must say, the AAWP works as advertised. Dirt and dust collection on my front two wheels was drastically reduced, and in preparation for an ONR wash today I pulled out of the garage and rinsed the wheels off. What little accumulation was on the front wheels washed off pretty easily. There was some adhered brake dust, and the wheels will need to be washed with ONR, but the AAWP made a huge increase in how the wheels looked from day-one cleaning until today, which had been about 5 weeks in cumulation.

Qualifiers: I have the soft/cheap brake pads on my truck (intentionally) and they dust a lot. Also, on the front passenger wheel I left an area on the wheel facing untreated with the AAWP, and you could definitely tell where it was NOT. Lots of brake dust accumulation and it did not rinse clean like the rest of the wheel.
