Hey everyone!

I'm new to the forum... just wanted to say that this is a great site and I've learned so much from it! Hoping to start a business in the spring and everything here has definately broadened my car-cleaning knowledge!

So i was just curious... has anyone tried the new Armor All Wax-It-Dry and PowerWash gel combintaion? I just saw it the other day. You start with the PowerWash gel that you squeeze right on to a wet car and lather. Then you squeeze the Wax-It-Dry gel on the car as you dry. It says it has carnauba wax in it. I know this is probably something you wouldn't use in a professional setting, but for private, everyday basic cleanings, does it work good?

Thanks for your help! :2thumbs:

Welcome!

And no, its terrible. Wash+OCW will provide MUCH better results MUCH quicker. Tried it a while ago, took a long time, finish wasnt great, and didnt look that good either.

They're selling that mess for like a dollar at Pep boys. Absolutely awful. However, I DID snag some of:

For like 1 buck there as well :D

Hey! thanks for the responses! i'll definately steer away from that stuff!

Lemans23: good deal on the turtle wax! how does it work for ya? I picked up some of the Turtle Wax Platinum Series Ultra Gloss Paste Wax a while, but i haven't had the chance to use it yet. hope it works good!

Thanks again! :hifive:

the last aa trick or treat i bought was right when thier super shiney yada yada tire gel w/applicator that you couldnt feel till you bought it and opened it. the gel sucks the applicator sucks, dont think it made it through one tire before malfunctioning completely. no thanks ill stick to onr 425 or whatever polymer/spray wax i choose. i already know how easy it is, and know what to expect from the process.
