Are we sure there the same P21s/S100???

We make jeans in a factory...

We try to use fabric from the same batch, but even then, the first few yards of a 1,000 yard roll will have a slightly different shade than the last few yards.

As long as the shade level is within the accepted quality tolerance levels, it's the same pair of jeans that will sell for the same price. Go to a department store and see styles that are identical. Chances are, some may have a slightly different shade, but neither is better/worse than the other.

I suspect your batches of S100/P21S probably fall within the accepted tolerances. Even if they are different batches with different manufacturing dates. Heck, if they didn't pass quality, then it would probably not have made it to the store.

For your peace of mind, maybe you can do half hood with the P21S, and half hood with the S100 and test for shine, gloss, etc... and durability. If it's not up to snuff, then maybe you can email the supplier that you got a defective batch (which I doubt).

Cheers!
