Are sealers and wax removed?

I've read alot about putting on sealers and wax.
And about you all putting on layer after layer after layer..

Are the layers ever removed, or do they wear off?

In this forum I doubt very much if most members ever let the sealers(sealant) and waxes wear off.

Most products are removed with either a mechanical or chemical polish. Menzerna IP is a mechanical polish. So is Poorboy's SSR 2.5. Klasse AIO is a chemical polish as is Poorboy's ProPolish. Just to name a few of the different products. An LSP such as Meguiar's NXT has cleaning properties that will take the previous layer off when applied.
 
now that beemer has detailed your new car you can use a Quick Deatiler to prolong your finish then apply a fresh layer of wax every 4 to 6 weeks.Whatever you used as a Last step product that is what you normally would continue to apply Example: sealent over sealant, wax over sealant or wax over wax. Never apply a layer of sealant over wax.
