I like the Nanodiamond oil additives like nano lube lubrication these tiny particles are amazing feats of engineering that improve gas mileage while reducing long-term wear. Try it.

Oldie but goody thread. I just bought my boss' 95 Wrangler (with 160k miles on the 4 banger) as a project beater. He was the original owner and used Mobil 1 in it since new, though he wasn't particularly good about doing oil changes on a regular basis. I just took the head off to replace the head gasket, everything was amazingly clean in there. No sludge and very little wear on the valvetrain and the cylinder bores look very nice.

Ive been using Pennzoil Ultra in both my daily driver and Corvette. Its a great value at $27 for 5Qt, and meets both Honda and GM Corvette specs.

Once the powertrain warranty expires I may switch to Amsoil's top of the line. Ive used their oils in my motorcycles and always noticed smoother shifting after switching to it. Unfortunately they dont have the $$ to pass the GM and Honda specs ( it costs over 1M dollars ! ) and I would rather avoid a warranty showdown in the case of a powertrain failure.

There is a new organisation in UK, the Metabond. I have been using for 3 years. My fuel economy increased by 8 mpg, while the engine feels more powerful and runs smoother, quieter. I got them from eBay or from their website, where you can get 10% off from your first order with a coupon code: "10off" Also you can find some detailed description about the products.
