Ardex Speedy Brightener: Removal?

Several years back at an auto show my dad bought me some Speedy Brightner made by Ardex. I haven't used it in a few years, then about two months ago I put in on my new tires.

Yesterday I tried cleaning up the tires for a new coat and it wouldn't come off. I tried megs gold class soap, Turtle wax f21 wheel cleaner, and finally some Westley's bleach white. No matter how much scrubbing it stayed there. The only difference was now there were lines in it from the brush strokes.

I did figure out that if I rubbed it with my fingers it would ball up and leave a nice clean patch of rubber. There was no way I was going to rub each tire clean though. I just rinsed them off and reapplied, hoping it would cover up the brush marks. It seems to have covered up nicely, but how does this stuff come off?

The rubber is fairly new and has been cleaned with the megs gold class the runs onto it from the wash, and westley's. The only other product that has been on there is some Black Magic at one point.

This is the description from their site:

6224 SPEEDY BRIGHTENER “The Best There Is This is our premier dressing for tires and interiors and we believe it is better than any other product on the market. It is a solvent based, silicone and polymer mixture with special leveling agents to create just the right appearance. It lasts longer as well.

"Solvent based" sounds scary?

The pros are that it seems to last for a few awhile and I like the smell.

Teh cons are that it must where out the rubber in the spray bottle because it was leaking out everywhere.

I have used it on certain tires that wont expect my water base dressing and works GREAT for me, To clean I use a GOOD degreaser to clean with a tire brush. No problem for me.
