Aquawax on glass?

I know duragloss has a product called "rain repel" which i haven't tried yet.



Anyway, yesterday i'm putting a coat of aquawax on the car and i wasn't paying attention and misted part the windshield. Whiped it up and it was streak free and clear. Anyone intentionally try Aquawax on their glass and get good results?
 
I usually wipe the glass surfaces down also, never had any problems. Leaves a nice crystal clear surface and seems to make the water just run right off. Can't say really how it works on the windshield, since I use Rain-X wiper fluid, which has coated the glass with Rain-X. I think AW can be used on nearly any hard exterior surface with good results...
