Aquapel'd the windshields today.

Any local place/stores that still stock Aquapel or is online the only way to go? I remember Pep Boys use to stock them a few years back...

I've seen it under the PPG label at a local pep boys in the clearance section before. Haven't ever seen aquapel in a brick store yet though, but the PPG stuff was aquapel bit a different Label

If an auto parts store doesnt have it (my case),sometimes a good paint equipment and detail supply store will have it. But in my case, when I need more Im just going to order online instead of trying to hunt for it locally

Whenever I saw it locally, way back when, it was always broken. People loved to mess with the packages. I got mine from ebay too, easier, cheaper, less hassle.

I looked, but it was cheaper on ebay at the time. I'm more cheap than amazon. :tongue2:

"Dirt cheap", ahh, we distributed it a few years back under our brand.

Distributor cost, before any other path to the end user was $7.00 each.

Our cost, in 6 gross lots was close to $5 a tube, without factoring in shipping to our warehouse.

Why is "cost" a really big issue when one will pay $10,000 more for a Cadillac SUV and is not really different than a Chevy SUV, other than some trim and badging?

If something works, if one realizes it is superior to everything else out there, just buy it and don't cry about getting a really superior product, not a rebadged Chevy.

I was once able to scoop up a bunch locally on closeout for a buck a piece! They worked maybe not their best but I got performance out of them. Once in a life time buy I suppose

In the case of professionals, lower product cost = higher profit potential... that's probably the main reason.
