I have not tried KSG alone in a mister bottle but I have used it that way as a topper diluted with distilled water (3 parts water/1 part SG). This is a great QD for shine and to rejuvenate protection from time to time to my hand applied straight SG. It works very well in a mister bottle (as opposed to a sprayer bottle). How it would work without being diluted I do not know but I think you might get too much on unless the mist was very, very fine. A very little dab of SG on your applicator is all that is ever required as too much will tend to haze and will be difficult to remove. If it does haze, the hombrew mentioned above will help smooth it out.
One option to consider in addition to the mister, and one I use with things like FK425 QD, is a rechargeable aerosol sprayer bottle like you can find at Harbor Freight Tools for around ten bucks. The aerosol assures you will have a fine mist rather than droplets. You put in the product and then charge it with your air compressor. The bottles come with various nozzles for fine, medium and heavy liquids. From my experience, around 75lbs of pressure with the light green color nozzle works well in putting out a very fine mist of most detail liquids (such as the 425 and even Werkstats Jett which is similar to KSG). I assume it would work just as well with KSG but like I said, I've never tried it without mixing it with water. You can experiment with various air pressures and nozzles to get it just the way you want. If you try it let us know how it turns out.
