applying decal

I am goin to do my first detail and i want to put on a decal at the same time.
My question is when do i put on the decal on after polishing then wax over it, or wait till after i wax.

You should probably clean the area with rubbing alcohol or the like to ensure that the decal sticks properly, a good number of polishes do contain oils and your decal will probably not stick well to the surface with the oils on the paint.

im using pb pro polish , ssr2, and ntx wax

when i apply decals at work i clean the area with alcohol. once it has dried wet the area with soapy water. this will allow you shift the decal into the proper position without ruining the decal.once in place hold the left or roght side and take a shamy and wipe the decal away from your hand holding it. this will help get the water from under the decal. i would let it dry for a few hours before waxing it to make sure it is secure. you should have issues doing it this way. good luck
