Applying Danase Wet Glaze

I just ordered my first batch of DWG to try out and was wondering if anyone had tips on application -- type of applicator, wait times before buffing (if any) etc. It will be applied over carnauba, we'll see how that works out, seems it shouldn't be a problem from what I've read.

I used DWG using a PC and a black finishing pad, and also with a MF applicator pad. You'll get better results via PC.

I'll probably start by hand, but what speed are you running the PC at? Maybe I'll pick up a finishing pad.

I started up to 3 by spreading it then when to 5 or 6 and it melted into the paint which did not require much buffing. Made my hood darker!
 
It's says as advertise that it can hide or fill swirls, but I had barely any marring on my hood so I coudn't tell. It also leaves some protection behind as well.

I was under the impression that it was just a wipe it on, wipe it off product. I did not realize that it needed to be worked in or broken down.



It doesn't have any abrasive, does it?



How long did you work it...anywhere close to the time you would on a polish?
 
You can just wipe it on and wipe it off. If you use a PC it sort of just melts into the paint. Hard to explain but it does it right away. There really is no work time. If you are doing it by hand I would just use a MF appplicator.
 
When I used this product, I used a simple foam applicator, rubbed it in a panel at a time and then buffed with a microfiber towel. The results were amazing. Next time I will try the PC with a finishing pad to see how this works.
 
here are some of my results using danase glaze. using the PC i started out at 4 and uped it to 5 till it basically disapeared. then i buffed it with a microfiber towel. it makes the paint look that much wetter. ohh and my lsp was souvern

Sounds as if either method will produce the same fine results, correct?
