applying #7

was wondering how do everyone on the site apply meg #7?

what do you use to apply it and what do you use to remove it?

currently im using a "diaper soft polish cloth" to both apply and removing it

Foam pad by hand, pretty thin. Polishing pad PC at 2- 2.5, again thin. Remove with good quality MF. Sometimes by panel, sometimes after total car. I love that stuff. I never have any problems and I think it looks great. If only it was VM#7.

And..I like it just as much as Hand Polish.:)

I find it harder than your average product, but the results for me on my beater car with awful paint are worth it.

I always use a foam Meg's pad, apply sparingly to entire car. Use cotton terry towels to remove the bulk of the residue. You may find terry towels that have more "bite" to make the job easier. [The diapers are soft but they might require more effort on your part for that very reason.] Follow up with a mf to remove the remainder and you should hear quite a bit of squeaking. Follow up with your favorite carnuba topper (I like #16).

When I apply using the PC, I use a finishing pad rather than a polishing pad. I use cotton terry to remove, with one wipe to remove the skin, and a second wipe about 10 seconds later to remove the second skin.

Also, you don't have to "get it all". Whatever you missed, you will catch when you apply and remove your final product.
