applying 303 on tires and black trim

I saved this for last... How do you guys suggest I apply it? There's tons of black trim (old BMW) and I gotta do the tires too. I have a sponge thing for the tires... But what about the trim and mouldings?? Is it ok if I over spray and get it on the paint? It's waxed and dust-free right now, don't want to screw it up... Or should I spray the 303 on a towel or something and rub it on the trim?

Common sense would dictate spraying the protectant onto a cloth or sponge, then applying it to trim and moldings. Some cheap kitchen sponges purchased at your favorite supermarket would work well as an applicator but a clean towel would be fine.

I pour 303 in a small container or cup and I use a paint brush to apply it on my tires. I do it this way because I get very little if not zero over spray from the protect on the paint or other areas. I also notice that I use less product compared to just spraying it on the tires. I would think that a paint brush would work for the trim also, although I never tried it.

Good idea! I do that all the time with exterior trim products. :up

i use a foam applicator. i find this way to use the least amount of product. i spray applicator once, do 1 tire...then spray applicator again and redo tires. i total 8 sprays for 4tires with nice sheen and not using up to much product. 303 is expensive....if you do this method dont use this applicator for anything else cept maybe mudguards cuz it tends to get a lil dirty. i use a seperate applicator for exterior trim. word of advice, 303 lasts:p unlike other products, 303 does cover alot w/ little product similar to klasse twins. so try to use less and see how it works for you:xyxthumbs
