Applied CQuartz to the wife car :)

Well everything went very well with the coating and I had no issues at all. Thanks Richy and Avi for answering my questions. I had to get creative with washing as I don't have running water or a drain. With the help of a 2gal garden sprayer, 5gal bucket to fill it, and a wet vac, I was able to do a good Dawn and APC wash. I followed that up with 2 IPA wipe downs. Can't wait to see how it hold up and compares to OC.

Sorry I didn't take a lot of pics. I did have to wet sand the front fender as it was repainted and the texture (orange peel) was way off from the rest of the car.

Headlight were pitted so I sanded them with 800/1000/1500/3000

I found the application to be very easy and the supplied foam block and MF sued towels work well, though they don't do the best with very contoured surfaces. The smell of the product was very strong and having a well ventilated space would be advised.

Cheers,

Check out that first picture... in case you're wondering what a perfect wet sanding job looks like... well, that's it. Wow!
