Applicators and Towels

Thanks, I just sent an email off to ranney. I'm still wondering what I should use for the washing part, should/can/is it good to use the MF towels for that as well? or no ? :bow :bow

Okay. I am ordering:

(2) Chenille Wash Mitt From CMA. They are $6.95 each, shipping is $4.95.

Tottal from CMA is $18.85.

From PakShak I deciding which to order.

I might get (8) 16x16 MF towels, and (2) 24x24 towels, or I might get (10) 16x16 MF towels, and (1) 24x24 towel.

Whichever I get, teh total will be $33.00 which does include shipping.

Will these towels and wash mitts be good?

I plan on using some Gold Class car wash as well, I am not sure about the wax yet. The car is new, has 2400 miles on it. It is black, I was told I should not need to polish it.

Well Im itching to place the order, but don't want to before I recieve a few comments. I'm afraid someone might so "OH NO! DOn't order they ruined my car or something"

I'll wait a few more minutes, but I will order it before I go out for lunch break.

Make sure you get waffleweave towels for drying. The MF towels used for polishing/wax removal don't absorb water as good as the waffleweave towels do.

I don't know what PakShak sells the 16x16 or 24x24 towels for, but for compairson shopping JT International sells 16x16 = $2 and their 28x54 waffleweave for $16.50. You can get in touch with Tom Gong with JT International at jtintern@hotmail.com. Tom uses USPS Priority service so you would have your order in 2 days. I placed an order on Friday and had it Monday morning.

I ordered the two Chenille Wash Mitt From CMA.

Total was $18.85. I hope these work out good.

Next up is the MF towles I will be buying from PakShak. I might order these later today.

I have been reading a lot, and while you suggest waffleweave towels for removing water, many people said using the hose to 'sheet' off the water then using a MF towel to 'blot' works pretty good, so I thought I would do that ?

:bow :bow

Thanks everyone on this forum!:up

The waffleweave towels are MF, just constructed differently from the polishing cloths. I believe all the MF drying towels are of the waffleweave construction. Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong on this. The waffleweave towels absorb water 3x faster and more thoroughly than the polishing towels.

I wouldn't use Turtle Wax MF's.

$20 for 2 chenelle mitts? I got one from Target for $5.

I would DEF. get waffleweaves to dry...I couldn't imagine using regular MF's to dry.

Ah, yes.

Does anyone know where I can get good quality waffleweave's at a local store? Does Costco carry them? Or target? Any where else might carry them?

I assume then the the MF from panshak are for polishing only? No?

I believe the only places you can get quality waffleweave towels are from CMA (Big Blue Towel) or e-mail Tom at JT International. BTW, be careful with the MF they sell at Target/Walmart/Costco, they're not that great.

I just used a waffleweave to dry my car for the first time today. I got the 16x36 that JT International sells. It is absolutely great! It absorbed all the water off my car without wringing out.

I use the regular MF for the windows, removing wax/sealant, QD, drying the door/trunk jambs, and cleaning the interior. It does a great job!

I used the 24" x 24" from Pakshak to dry my car after sheeting the water off with the hose, it dried it perfectly well, no streaks, no water left over, didn't have to wring out the towel. It will work good using that drying method.
