Anyway to protect wheel wells?

I have a customer who recently purchased a brand new Tundra. It is in great condition except for the wheel wells, which already have noticeable pitting after only 3,000 miles? Is there any way to protect this area of the vehicle. I've never seen this before. Thanks.

I use that $6 undercoating spray.



My civc came with plastic lining but my car is slow low I had to take them out. But I sprayed that coating to prevent the rocks damage and rust. So far so far. And plus it looks sicks cus my car is red. I like it. LoL

its the 6-7 dollar bottle at advance auto or pep boys. So far its worked awesome.
